If you are a realtor, you should absolutely be aligning yourself with an experienced mortgage broker/agent. When selecting an agent, you should be completely cognizant of his/her personality, industry knowledge, work related credentials, and professional relationships. In my opinion, it should be a dependable dynamic that has been reinforced by the personal virtues of integrity and accountability. All calls and e-mails should be returned within a max. time duration of 2-3 hours and he/she should continually be informing you of the latest updates regarding a particular mortgage file. There is absolutely nothing more embarassing or disconcerting than a realtor whom is oblivious to the matters surrounding any homebuying transaction. All mortgage agents should also have a reliable back-up specialist or assistant that you can keep you connected to a file should that agent suddenly become unavailable. The way I see it, you (the agent) as well as your "high valued" customer need to be unilaterally satisfied with the service surrounding the entire homebuying process. This is precisely why I wish to be appointed "Your broker for life!"

Warmest Regards,
